He was predeceased by: his parents, Kwan Hup Yau and Cai Juan Chen. He is survived by: his wife Jin "Lisa" Qiu; his children, Bing Qiu (Dat Ly) and Eric Qiu; his grandchildren, Peyton, Olivia and Lauren; and his sister Li Peng Mei. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
