Donald Robert Parson Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Robert Parson Sr. (Morgantown, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Parson and Louise Parson (Green); his wife Marlene Parson; his son James "Rusty" Parson; and his siblings, Joyce Kemp, Sheron Elkins, Patty Arnold, Sue Ellis, Lewis Parson, William "Bill" Parson, Barbara Parson, Richard Parson, Johnny Parson, Jimmie Parson and Mary Lou Casey.
He is survived by: his son Donnie Parson Jr. (Laurie) of Martinsville; his daughter-in-law Cindy Parson of Trafalgar; his grandchildren, Jeana Mykelti (Bridgett), Kyle Parson (Logan), Caleb Parson (Chelsey) and Casey Parson (Ashlee); his stepgrandchildren, Logan Maxwell and Lindsey Dalton; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Austin, Colt, Chloe, Everett, Coan, Caleb, Wrenley and Adalynn Parson; his sisters, Virginia Perry of Brown County and Judy Crider (Steve) of Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Rayjean Parson of Columbus and Karen Parson of Martinsville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center (179 E Mulberry St, Morgantown, IN 46160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home (179 E Mulberry St, Morgantown, IN 46160).
