He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert'Swampy'Burns Nelson and Kathy Diane Nelson (Ables); and his brother Robert H. Burns. He is survived by: his wife Karlena Patillo; and his children, Robert Nelson, Jacob Nelson, Adaline Nelson, Lillyann Nelson and Alex Toigo.
