She was predeceased by : her parents, Leslie Spitzner and Sylvia Spitzner (Howe); her husband Ira Ritter; her daughter Peggy Brune; her son-in-law Dennis Brune; and her great grandchild Isabella Hills. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Concord Cemetery in Morristown, Indiana.
