He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Leslie and Edna Craft Leslie; his wife Margaret Frances; his granddaughter Michelle "Chelle" Humbles; and his siblings, Joyce Mercer, Richard Leslie, Darlene "Crystal" Coon and Reuben "Junior" R Leslie Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Peggy Humbles (Jake), Timothy Leslie (Leslie Ann), Cheryl Maloyed (Jon), James Leslie (Tina), Robin Swim (Richard) and Debra Hammonds (Craig); his grandchildren, Marvin "Linny" Humbles (Adrienne), James "Jamie" Maloyed (Chrissy), Timothy "Allen" Leslie (Nikki), Angelica Ring (Frank), Kailey Leslie (Chris), Ashley McKinzie (Zack), Reba Halstead (Tyler), James "Stan" Leslie (Olivia), Lacey Hammonds, Richard "Drew" Swim (Darrian) and Cody Leslie; his great grandchildren, Lindley "Aaron" Humbles, Rasitlin Cox (Tiffany), Selina Teague, Terris Maloyed, Ayden Humbles, Nigel Humbles, Logan Williams, Katelynn Leslie, Madyson "Mady" Olsen, Christin Leslie, Jace Phillips, Silas Phillips, Whitlie Halstead, Alaina Godsey, Ava Villalba, Franklin Ring, Elayna McKenzie, Sadie Rich, Nova Rich, Nathan "Nate" Archer, Rhyland Swim, Ardan Humbles and Layla Swim; and his great great grandchildren, Anastasia Cox and Emma Michelle Thomas.
