He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Gibson and Evelyn Gibson (Whitfield); his wife Glenda Gibson (Hendrix); and his siblings, Marjorie Severs and Donnie Gibson (Jane).
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Lowenhaupt (James) and Carrie Brenner (Keith); his grandchildren, Andrea, Greg Hargrove, Tiffany Harvey (Caleb), Michelle Goebel (Andy) and Joshua Brenner (Amy); his great grandchildren, Aisha, Aubrey, Brogan, Cheyenne, Ivan, Ainsley, Lawson, Cree and Oaklee; and his siblings, Tony Gibson, Margaret Walsh (Bob) and Marilyn Dye. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
