It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Gibson of Mount Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Bill Gibson to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Gibson and Evelyn Gibson (Whitfield); his wife Glenda Gibson (Hendrix); and his siblings, Marjorie Severs and Donnie Gibson (Jane).
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Lowenhaupt (James) and Carrie Brenner (Keith); his grandchildren, Andrea, Greg Hargrove, Tiffany Harvey (Caleb), Michelle Goebel (Andy) and Joshua Brenner (Amy); his great grandchildren, Aisha, Aubrey, Brogan, Cheyenne, Ivan, Ainsley, Lawson, Cree and Oaklee; and his siblings, Tony Gibson, Margaret Walsh (Bob) and Marilyn Dye. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery (5500 Industrial Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
