He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herschel and Mayme Jenkins (Darnell); his siblings, Teana Furhiman and Rusty Jenkins; and his niece Tara Jenkins.
He is survived by: his close friend Paula Alldredge; his siblings, Jimmy Jenkins (Nikita), Robert Jenkins (Julie) and Debra Jenkins; his nieces, Brittany, Jade, Kelsey and Melissa; his nephew Daniel; his sister-in-law Karen Niehaus; his nephew Brian Niehaus (Mary Ann); his niece Dawn Head; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler Head (Ashlee), Collin Niehaus, Kyleigh Head (Evan) and Jennah Niehaus; his pet Blackie; Grace. He is also survived by 8 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery (5500 Industrial Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
