He was predeceased by: his father Charles Blackburn; his former wife Janice Blackburn (Burnett); his wife Dorothy "Gerry" Blackburn (Findley); and his siblings, Roy Blackburn, Carl Blackburn, Lorene Bradford, Mary Sexton, Cleda Walters and Virginia Claybrooke.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Blackburn (Debbie) and Jeff Blackburn (Sheila); his granddaughters, Amber Blackburn and Samantha Blackburn; his great grandchildren, Dylan Schmitz (Julie) and McKinley Schmitz; his great great grandchildren, Hazel and Colson Schmitz; and his brother-in-law Bob Walters. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
