She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sr. Givens and Geraldine "Jeri" Givens (Steward); and her brother Myles Givens. She is survived by: her children, Trent Givens (Michelle), Todd Givens, Tyler Givens and Tracey Givens; her siblings, Dennis Givens (Davetta), James Givens (Ardyth), Anthony Givens, Shawn Givens, Rodney Givens, Sue Young, Carla Maddox (Edward), Angie Levingston (Deon) and Dawn Owens (LaShone); her aunt Charlotte Smith; and her pets, Too Short and Navarro. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
