We bid farewell to Don Sobek of Mount Vernon, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Don touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Don may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Don leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Sobek and Irene Sobek (Goss); and his sister Mary Ann Konechne. He is survived by: his wife R. Breeze Sobek (Griswold); his goddaughter Valerie Brugerolles; his sister Barbara Jean Elliott (Tim); and his brother-in-law Tom Konechne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
