She was predeceased by : her father Frank Kirk, Sr.; her brother Roger D. Kirk; and her aunt Mary Waller. She is survived by : her close friend Jesse "Waxey" Walker; her sons, Stephon Michael and Sabian Matthew Walker; her stepfather Melvin Hayden; her siblings, Tony Kirk (Vivian), Rena Johnson (Ralph), Frank Junnie, Vernon Keith and Bruce Lee Kirk; her aunt Marjorie Leftwich; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Pawlak (Tim) and John Walker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #5 Auxiliary.
