It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gene Riley of Mount Vernon, Indiana, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Belvin Eugene Riley and Elizabeth Laverne Pilant (Sample); and his sisters, Sherry Riley, Brenda Lane and Kathy Norman.

He is survived by : his wife Elaine Riley (Fisher); his children, Larry Michael Riley (Melissa), Jamie Woods (Dave), Jack Kerney (Tiffany), David Kerney, Karen Berning and Susan Wargel; his grandchildren, Stephanie Conger, Craig Tabor (Jenn), Nicole Koring (Jonathan), Christopher Payne, Steven Payne (Kelsey), Kala Perry (Justin), Kristin Ray (Trevor), Keela Kerney, Sean Kerney (Samantha), Brittnie Riley-Haynes (Stephen), Kaleb Dosher (Parker Gross), Abigail Dosher, Allyson Woods, Kyle Woods and Brianna Woods; and his brothers, Dale Pilant of Kentucky and Danny Pilant (Jenna) of Kentucky.
