It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Sheffer (Mount Vernon, Indiana), born in Sturgis, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Oliver Dunning and Mary Ruth Dunning (Conn); and her pet Jake. She is survived by : her husband Guy Sheffer; her sons, Ron Sheffer (Dee Ann), Steve Sheffer (Cheryl) and Joe Sheffer (Pasha); her grandchildren, Kyle Sheffer (Nicole), Todd Sheffer and Micah Sheffer; her great grandchildren, Owen and Olivia Sheffer; and her siblings, Judy Hatfield and David Dunning. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
