She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Redman and Minnie Redman (Jones); her siblings, Malvern Redman, David Redman, Shirley Walker and Sara Bradford; and her husband Robert D. Bayer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Proctor of Westfield, IN and Carol Simmons (Art) of Noblesville, IN; her grandchildren, Ryan Proctor (Holly) of Carmel, IN, Sally Akers (Greg) of Indianapolis, IN, Don McClatchy (Anne) of Wheaton, IL and Chris McClatchy (Allyson) of Indianapolis, IN; her great grandchildren, Kate, Emily Proctor, Janie, Claire, Will Akers, Ella, Brady, Reese McClatchy, Maren and Drew McClatchy; her friend Linda Hellenburg; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, James, Colleen Ray, Billy and Alley Bettenhausen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery (5500 Industrial Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
