She was predeceased by: her father William "Harold" Lewis; and her sisters, Monica Clair Lewis and Sue Loehr. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Nelson; her children, Daena Slagle (Dan), Pleasie Nelson, Tylan Nelson (Blair) and Kaale Nelson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Awbreigh, Khen Slagle, Alexis and Skylar Nelson; and her sister Margo Hall (Ron). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
