It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Sauve (Mount Vernon, Indiana), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha Sauve to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walker and Mildred Walker (Cox); her husband George Sauve; and her sister Jane Working. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Sauve (Julie) of Burnsville, MN and Shelby Sauve (Jeri) of New Harmony; her grandchildren, Rose Sauve, Maizee Goebel (Brian), Jacob Sauve and Levon Sauve (Tabitha); her great grandchildren, Hayden Goebel and Sawyer Goebel; her extended family, Kari Elpers, Cooper Fuquay and Eleanor Elpers; and her brother Ben Walker (Wilma). She is also survived by her family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
