Melva Englebright Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melva Englebright of Mount Vernon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melva Englebright to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Breeze and Katherine R. Breeze (Carman); her husband Jerald W. Englebright; her daughter Jerri K. Juncker; her siblings, Phyllis Gentil and Gerald Breeze; and her grandson Tyler Englebright.
She is survived by: her sons, Wade Englebright, Donald Englebright and Jon Englebright; and her grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Elizabeth, Randi, Kari, Alex, Kalee, Jordan, Allison and Kyle. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center – Mt Vernon.
