He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Russell (Roedel). He is survived by: his father John Richard Russell; his children, John Adam Russell and Laura Kuhn (Keith); his grandchildren, Mallory, Natalie, Oakley and Presley Kuhn; and his siblings, Jeff Russell (Patricia), Greg Russell (Lisa), Diana Langton (Gary) and Carrie Robb (Brad). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery (5500 Industrial Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
