She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Powell and Cynthia "Cindy" Powell (Chumley); her grandparents, John, Dorita "DoDo" Jean Logan, Marvin Lewis and Mary Evelyn Powell (Rager); her aunt Kathy Wagner-Hobbs; and her cousins, Aaron Butler and Johnathan Winebarger.

She is survived by: her son Austin Powell; her brother Daniel Powell; her aunt Jackie Baxter (Mike); her nieces and nephews, Daniel, Tyler, Zoe, Mason and Samantha; and her pet Rebel. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
