He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie; and his sister Edna Richardson Eversole. He is survived by: his wife Sue May (Henderson); his children, Derek May (Susan) and Tracy Fischer (Andrew); his grandchildren, Wesley, Bailey May, Samuel, Caleb and Katelyn Fischer; and his nephews, Mike Richardson (Dana) and Chris Richardson (Desiree).
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
