She was predeceased by: her parents, Gearld McCarty and Virginia McCarty (Stickles); her husband Alan Hickey; her sisters, Rosie McCarty and Shirley Mowery; and the father of her children Jerry Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy DeVous (Daniel) of Mill Shoals, Jerri Ann Gray and Dale Gray (Lori) of Mt. Vernon, IN; her grandchildren, Dylan, Shannon (Bret), Sarah, Ashley (Seth), Cadie, Brittany (Bishop) and Hanna; her great grandchildren, Aubree, Nova, Bennett, Blakley, Tallulah, Kathryn, Johnathan and Koltyn; her siblings, Jerry McCarty of Forrest Illinois, Connie Beck of Forrest and Diana Quist (Monte); and her close friend J. R. Harper of Mt. Vernon, IN.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
