Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Schroeder (Mount Vernon, Indiana), born in Wadesville, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 99, on August 30, 2022. He was predeceased by : his father August Schroeder; his sister Dorthea (Arnold Hendrix); and his sons, Steven C. and Michael A. Schroeder. He is survived by : his wife Virginia "Sue" M. Schroeder (Hazlett); his son William David Schroder (Sherry); his grandchildren, Jewelli Brace (Jeff), Kim Schroeder (Craig), Dayrha Schroeder-Allen (Donald), Samantha Robison (Cody) and William Gunner Schroeder; and his great grandchildren, Jaylynd Buick, Michaela Allen, Gracie Allen, Laken Robison and River Robison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #5 Honor Guard in Mt. Vernon, IN or the Charles Ford Retirement Home in New Harmony, IN.
