She was predeceased by: her parents, Godfrey W. Schmitzer and Margaret Schmitzer (Ziegler); her husband Arlin Glenn Jacobs; her siblings, John Schmitzer (Mary) and Martha Brandt (Doyle); and her niece Ruth Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Jean Jacobs of Mt. Vernon, John Arlin Jacobs (Jeanne) of Mt. Vernon and Alan Duane Jacobs (Lori) of Old Hickory, TN; her grandchildren, Joshua Jacobs (Maria) and Jenna Jacobs; and her extended family, Dustin Dyer (Jennifer), Malia Dyer (Sam Turpin), Hannah, Mykah Dyer, Colton and Bailey Peck.
