It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Dale Riggs Sr. in Mulberry, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Dale and Frances Riggs (Galloway); his son David; and his siblings-in-law, Max and Mary Wastl.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Wastl; his son Alan Riggs (Angie) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Michael of Lafayette, Danielle of Lafayette and Joshua of Lafayette; his great grandchildren, Skylar, David, Juliette, Mason and Jensen; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Pritchard (Bob) and Mark Wastl (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Alan's name may be given to Franciscan Hospice.
