She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard E. Dunbar and Dorothy L. Dunbar (Martin); her husband Ross E. Brewer; and her sister Betty Irwin. She is survived by: her children, Michael Brewer (Valery) of Gilbert, AZ, Becky Richard (Geary) of Sarasota, FL and Jeffrey Brewer (Heidi) of Lafayette; her siblings, Mary Jane Eaton and Richard Dunbar; and her grandchildren, Jessica O'Leary (Patrick), David Brewer (Maeve), Matthew Poynter (Casey), Bradley Poynter (Sally), Amanda Anderson (Matt), Jordan Brewer (Sarah) and Samuel Brewer (Nicole). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Carol's name may be given to Christ United Methodist Church.
