He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Smiley and Carolyn Smiley; and his son Doug. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his son Mike; his stepsons, Michael (Yuri) and Christopher (Alison); his grandchildren, Matthew, Lukas, Ethan, Lily and Liam; and his siblings, Kevin (Jane) and Jenny. He is also survived by many extended family, friends.
