She is survived by : her husband Harold Witz; her daughters, Susan Crick (Kennith) and Karen Gerold (Sam); her sister Marilyn McAuley; her grandchildren, Sarah Crick, Ethan Crick, Evan Gerold and Ella Gerold; and her great grandchild Averley Crick.

Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's honor to the First Baptist Church in Lafayette or Riggs Community Health Center in Lafayette.
