We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2023, at the age of 85, Helen Payton of Mulberry, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, C. Paul Sturgeon and Lucy Ellen Sturgeon (Carte); and her sister Bonnie Smith (Fred). She is survived by : her children, Jackie Tedder of Mulberry, Cris Payton of Lafayette and Mike Payton (Michelle) of Eureka Springs, AR; her grandchildren, Miranda Reed, Samuel Payton and Rebecca Payton; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Porter, Devin Reed, Addison Payton and Amelia Luna Trujillo.

Memorial contributions in Helen's honor may be made to Clinton County Humane Society PO Box 455 Frankfort, IN 46041.
