It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Kern in Mulberry, Indiana, born in Frankfort, Indiana, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul H. Kern and Okal Kern (Hart); his wife Vonda Kern; his daughter Deirdre Abbott; and his brother James Kern (Jimmy).
He is survived by : his children, Kathy of Brownsburg, IN and Greg; his daughter-in-law Amy of Woodstock, GA; his grandchildren, Meghan, Andrew of Woodstock, GA, Matthew (Baltimore MD) and Sam Abbott (Jessica Kozy); his great grandchild Vivian; and his brother-in-law Neal Genda (Phil DePoy) of San Marino, CA.
Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
