He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Sewell and Verda Pearl Thompson (Amyx); and his siblings, Carlos "Chink" Thompson and Joan Goldsberry. He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Truitt; his daughter Amanda J. Whitlock (Jason); and his grandsons, Wesley, Seth and Rhett Whitlock.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
