We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2024, at the age of 77, Alberta F. Gentz of Muncie, Indiana, born in Kankakee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ownbey and Opal Ownbey (Shelton); her former husband Mac McFadden; her husband Robert C. Gentz; her stepmother Deloris Ownbey; her sisters, Pat Smith, Nancy Wolford and Cheryl Villagomez; and her granddaughter Faith McFadden.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Carl (Bob), Elizabeth Jean Nelson (Betty) of Daleville, IN, Edward Albert Nelson (Ted) of Muncie, IN and Todd Wayne McFadden of Muncie, IN; her grandchildren, Jackie Harrington (Dewayne), Christopher Privett, Kris Foster, Brandon May, Erin McFadden (James) and Darren Borror (Alexis); her siblings, Larry Ownbey of Illinois and Sharon Napier of California; her aunt Marge Alder; and her uncle Robert Themer (Nickie Brannon Osborne). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
