He was predeceased by: his father Ronald H. Rider; and his nephew Timothy Swihart. He is survived by: his wife Donna Rider (Simmons); his siblings, Sharon Brockhaus, Cindy Swihart (Phil), Brett Rider (Annie) and Linda Dummitt (Steve); his niece Katie Marks (Chris); and his nephew Brian (Natalie).
