He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett Gaddis and Mary Gaddis (Rash); his granddaughters, Isabella Lee Gaddis and Elleana Lee Gaddis; his sister Martha Ballow; and his stepmother Peg Gaddis.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Gaddis; his sons, Steve Gaddis (Jama), Scott Gaddis (Julie) and Andy Gaddis; his grandchildren, Matt Gaddis (Tiffany), Garrett Gaddis, Brandon Gaddis and Ayden Gaddis; his great grandchildren, Ella Mae Dobbs, Nora Rose Gaddis, Luna Lee Gaddis, Garren Gaddis and Nevaeh Gaddis; the mother of his children Linda Gaddis; his stepchildren, Ryan Haas (Kristen) and Traci Kapsalis (Dean); his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Haas, Griffen Haas, Evan Haas, Camille Kapsalis and Gus Kapsalis; and his niece Sue Ellen Stewart.
