He is survived by: his wife Jayda "Jay" Schaefer of Muncie, Indiana; his parents, Lori Schaefer and Bob Schaefer; his sister Mariah of Lenoir; and his grandparents, Mary Schaefer of Orland, Indiana and Joe Rice of Syracuse, Indiana. He is also survived by niece and nephew; several brothers- and sisters-in-law; extended family; dear friends; and the many cats who adored their dad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blood Cancer United to support the fight against blood cancer and to honor Brandon's courageous journey.
