He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Welder and Paula Welder (Jones); and his cousin Bruce Welder. He is survived by: his children, Lauren Dalton (Jacob) and Brian Lee Franklin Jr. (Tasha); his siblings, Mark Welder (Jessie) and Toyce Johnson (Jason); his aunt Janna Jones-Hill; his grandsons, Braylon Franklin and Levi Dalton; his cousin Tommy Welder; and the mother of his children Tenoha Brown. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
