It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Callie Rosella Thompson (Muncie, Indiana), born in Clay, Kentucky, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Vanleer and Bertha Vanleer (Pepper); her former husband Walter Charles Thompson; her sons, Walter Eugene Thompson, William Edward Thompson and Robert Lee Thompson; her stepdaughter Olivia Roberts Riley; and her siblings, Mary Walls, Ruby Moore, Hugh Vanleer, Homer Vanleer (Ted), Henry, Charles Vanleer and James Vanleer (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her stepson Orville (Connie Smith) of Muncie, IN.; her daughters-in-law, Pam Thompson of Ft. Wayne, IN and Annie Thompson of Las Vegas, NV.; her grandchildren, Stacey Jernigan (Frankie) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Erika Thompson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Robertha Nikki Frazier (Terrence) of Lansing, MI, Ieisha Thompson of Kansas City, KS, Rashona Thompson of Lansing, MI, Camille Thompson of Stockton, CA., Robert Juanell Thompson of Muncie, IN and Charles Thompson of Marina, CA.; and her brother Robert Vanleer (BJ) of Dayton, OH.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
