She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lyons and Thelma Lyons (Griffith); her husband Lawrence D. Koss; her son Gregory S. Koss; and her sister Barbara Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen L. Bungart (Mark) of Grove City and Susan D. Scheiwe (Kent) of Coldwater, Michigan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
