It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles W. Winkle (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley T. Winkle and Mae M. Winkle (Cooper); his siblings, Don Winkle (Debbe), Norman Winkle, Betty Johnston (Carl) and Sharon Kay Thomas (Harry); his nephews, Jeff Winkle, Steve Winkle and Michael W. Winkle; his great-niece Jana Duncan (Kent); Natalie.
He is survived by: his children, Kelli Winkle (Noah Taylor), Jill Winkle and Matt Winkle (Amanda); his grandson Oakley Winkle Delancey; his brothers, James Winkle (Susan) and Michael Winkle (Marilyn); his fiancée Marianne Koons; his fiancée's daughter Kristie Green (Todd); his extended family, Becky Smith (Smitty), Angie, Brian Zielinski, Madison Zielinski, Amy and Chris King; Jesse Green (Bri), Paytn Green (Andrew), Tiffany Mader, Cameron Pettiford, Kyler Bubp, Brixton Mader and Gwynn Green. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Mt. Pleasant Chapel (7901 W Co Rd 50 N, Muncie, IN 47304).
