Cheryl J. Steele Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl J. Steele (Muncie, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene George and Helen George (Wiseman); her husband Robert Steele; her stepchildren, Patricia Pariseau and Timothy Steele; her siblings, Jack George, Jerry George Fisher, Tony George and DeeDee Wisemore; and her nephew Carl Fisher.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Cindy Hall (Bill) and Michael George; her great-niece Hayley Garard (Ted); her great-nephew Patrick Hall; her stepchildren, Jane Johnson (Gary), Mary Rollins and Robert Steele (Vicki); and her grandchildren, Kirby Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Keith Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Stacey Stewart, Lara Sproessig, Kelsey Everling, Ashley Pariseau, Danielle Cushion, Jessie Rigney, Lindsey Peters and Nicholas Steele. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305).
