We bid farewell to Chris Carpenter of Muncie, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 30, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Franklin and Carrie Lee Carpenter (Morton); his son Shane Carpenter; and his brothers, Joe Carpenter and Gordon Carpenter.

He is survived by: his children, Drew Carpenter (Jessica), Christy Carpenter-Atkins and Jill McDuffee; his grandchildren, Ethan, Grace, Brynleigh, Ashley, Amber, Andrew and Jessica; and his nieces and nephews, Cortney, Jessica, David, Jennifer and Patrick. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews.
