He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cravens and Ida Cravens (Cooper); his wife Mary "Fran" Cravens (Beaty); and his siblings, Lee Leman, Cliff Cravens and Edna Turner.

He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Cravens; his daughter-in-law Carrie; his grandchildren, Kayla Cravens and Kyle Cravens; his great grandchildren, Ben, Mason, Eyce and Kalin; and his sisters, Edith Duty (Al) and Ina Beaty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
