It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clyde Smithers of Muncie, Indiana, born in Robbins, Tennessee, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Smithers and Lillie Smithers (Bowling); his wife Wilma Smithers; and his sons, Chuck Smithers and Lee Roy Smithers.

He is survived by: his daughter Leona "Lynn" Webb; his daughters-in-law, Mary Smithers and Marjorie Smithers; and his grandchildren, Christina Smithers and Katelynn Webb. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
