He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Emmit Hood, Sr. and Marlyn Hood; and his sisters, Betty Hood Yount, Francis Bilbrey and Debbie Hood.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Maddox (Steve) and Brianna Hood; his stepchildren, Ashley Perry, Brittany Montgomery and David Ehlers; his brother Tim Hood; and his cousins, Michele Rouse, Lisa McCormick and Sandra McDaniel. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
