He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eldridge and Jaley Eldridge; his wife Virginia Eldridge; his former wife Mary Eldridge; his daughter Martha Friar; and his grandson Gregory Morris.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Eldridge Jr., Marsha Morris (Greg) and Mona Ross (Chris); his grandchildren, Jason Eldridge, Chris Eldridge, Melia Ozbun (Shawn), Jordan Ross (Samantha) and Meredith Benvenuto (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Landon Ozbun, Wesson Carl Ross and Giuseppe Benvenuto.
