It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel L. Peckinpaugh (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Mark" Peckinpaugh and Ella Mildred Peckinpaugh (Huffman); his son Troy Peckinpaugh; his grandson Travis Tremaine; his brother David Peckinpaugh; his son-in-law Gary Tremaine; and his sisters, Eileen Martin, Kelsea Phyllis Smith, Janet Katz, Nola Crist and Marcia Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Peckinpaugh; his children, Dawn Peckinpaugh-Tremaine and Glen Peckinpaugh (Dawn); his grandsons, Joshua Tremaine and Justin Peckinpaugh (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Remi Peckinpaugh and Lucas Tremaine; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Peckinpaugh and Tony Swearingin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
