With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darla Lee Swafford of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Kirts and Linadine Kirts (Madden); her son Shane Swafford; her stepson Duane Swafford; and her brother Dennis Kirts.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy; her children, John Swafford (Kindra), Sandra Baird (DeWayne), James Swafford and Donald Swafford; her close friend Ashley Grove; her grandchildren, Shane Jr. of Marissa, JT, Jacklynn, Kalynn, Makinzi, Brayden, Ryleigh, Tyler (Neysa), Hailey (Crystal), Madalyn and Keegan; and her pet Eddie. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305).
