She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pherson and Reba Pherson (Painter); her husband R. Virgil Harrold Vorhees; her children, Jimmie Vorhees, Cynthia Ann Vorhees and Cindy Sturgeon; and her grandson Troy Vorhees.
She is survived by: her son Bud Vorhees (June); her grandchildren, Skip Vorhees (Marianne), Amy Jo Vorhees, Shayne Tackett (Tom), Jennifer Hoskins (Ryan), Jimmie Vorhees (Barb), Elizabeth Vorhees, Christopher Vorhees, Brien, Sundai Mills, Tiffany Woods (Dustin), Scott Vorhees (Nia) and Leisa Meer (Kenny); her daughter-in-law Susie Vorhees; and her nieces, Carol Jean Atkinson and Toni Flowers. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; 12 great, great grandchildren.
