He was predeceased by: his parents, George Green and Edna Green (Pennington); his siblings, Elster Green, Mary Lou Masters, Doris Jean Knapp, Donna Stinson, Jim Green, Terry Green and David Green; and his granddaughter Kayla Wallen.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Green (Welch); his sons, Carl Green and Ernest Green (Lisha); his grandchildren, Heather Chalfant (Adam), Chris Green (Melissa), Tiffany Green (Gary), Ryan Silvers (Lela) and Heather Silvers; his great grandchildren, Peyton Chalfant, Devin Davis (Chad), Ethan Wallen, Chaston Green, Grace Chalfant and Olivia Chalfant; his great great grandchildren, Zion Williams, Judah Privett, Asher Davis and Shiloh Davis; and his siblings, Wilma McCoy (Delbert), Bob Green (Sue) and Richard Green. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; and cousins.
