He was predeceased by: his parents, David Smith and Lizzie Smith (Thomas). He is survived by: his sibling's children, Barbara Evans Springport (Harold), Doris Thomas, Marion Shockley, Michael Shockley and Patrick Shockley (Betty). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
