He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Besser and Hazel Besser (Sayre); his wife Norma Lee Besser (Lambert); and his siblings, Anna Alberta Daugherty and Wendell "Bud" F. Besser.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Besser (Lynn) of Fayetteville, David Besser (Bonnie Jean) of Gaston, Indiana, Judith Taylor (Tom) of Augusta, Georgia, Jayne McColm (Dan) of Gaston and Rhonda Biggs (Brooks) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Church or Community Church.
